MATH 118: Special Topics in Mathematics

Math 118 is a college math course designed to provide an introduction to selected topics in mathematics. The course is intended for the nonscience major and will introduce students to the mathematics in everyday life. These topics will vary from planning mail routes to encoding data. After learning a new mathematical technique, students will be required to demonstrate proficiency with the technique by applying it to real world problems.
