Application Deadlines for Spring 2010
| December 1 | New students' applications must be received. |
| January 15 | Readmit students' applications must be received. |
Students applying for spring semester: There is a $25 late fee for applications received after the December 1 deadline.

| January 10 | Last day to cancel your registration |
| January 11 | Classes begin; late registration ($20 late fee) begins |
| January 15 | Last day to late register; adds accepted until 7 pm |
| January 18 | Holiday; no classes held |
| January 25 | Last day to reduce course load (but not drop all courses) and have tuition recalculated |
| March 5 | Spring Break begins, 5 pm |
| March 15 | Instruction resumes, 8 am |
| Mid-March to April | Transfer requests for fall 2010 (by appointment; call 919-962-1134) |
| March 15 | Last day for undergraduates to drop a course |
| March 15 | Incompletes (INs) from prior term (fall 2009) change to F* for undergraduate students |
| March 15 | Last day to withdraw for any prorated refund (prorated over nine weeks) |
| April 2 | Holiday; no classes held |
| April 12 | Last day for postbaccalaureates to drop a course |
| April 28 | Absences (ABs) from prior term (fall 2009) change to F* for undergraduate students |

Final Exam Schedule for Spring 2010 Evening Classes
Please note the examination schedule and plan accordingly before you register for a course. If you are absent from a final examination without an official excuse from Part-time Classroom Studies, or if you are present and fail to submit examination papers, you will be reported as Absent (AB). An AB is equivalent to an F and carries 0 quality points. See the Registrar's Web site for the full exam schedule, including daytime classes.
