Noncredit Learning Opportunities

UNC-Chapel Hill’s Friday Center for Continuing Education works in partnership with other University departments to develop and promote noncredit learning opportunities to the general public.

Professional Development and Enrichment Programs at the Friday Center

The Friday Center, formerly known as the bureau of extension, has been bringing University resources to the community since 1913. The Center’s Professional Development and Enrichment Programs unit offers noncredit seminars and workshops for professional education and a stimulating selection of enrichment courses taught by outstanding UNC-Chapel Hill faculty, staff, alumni, and community experts. Regularly offered programs include BRIDGES, Under the Atrium events, and the What’s the Big Idea? Lecture Series.
