The International Society for Aerosols in Medicine, in cooperation with the UNC School of Medicine, is pleased to announce its 19th Congress, to be held at the William and Ida Friday Center for Continuing Education located in Chapel Hill, NC. Visit the conference websitefor complete information.

Registration

We will accept on site registrations only.

UNC-Chapel Hill uses an alternative to the Social Security number called the Personal ID (PID) to aid in keeping records for students and participants. If you already have a PID, please enter it on the registration form. If you do not have a PID, you will be required to enter your birthdate and gender so that we can assign you a PID. We appreciate your cooperation.

REgistration Fees

ISAM Member Registration Fees

To be eligible for reduced Congress registration for members, your membership fee for 2013 must be received by the ISAM office (office@isam.org) before registering for the Congress.

Pre-Congress Workshops only (no Congress registration)

  • Basics of Aerosol Technology ($150 academic nonprofit; $200 for-profit industry)
  • NanoTox/Med ($200 academic nonprofit; $250 for-profit industry)
  • Regulatory ($250 academic nonprofit; $300 for-profit industry)

Each workshop attendance is limited to first 125 registrants

Congress registration only (no workshops)

  • Full Congress ($500 academic nonprofit; $650 for-profit industry)
  • One-day only ($250 academic nonprofit; $300 for-profit industry)

Full Congress registration with Workshop(s)

  • Basics of Aerosol Technology ($575 academic nonprofit; $750 for-profit industry)
  • NanoTox/Med ($600 academic nonprofit; $775 for-profit industry)
  • Regulatory ($625 academic nonprofit; $800 for-profit industry)

Late fee for Member Congress Registration ($150 after Feb 15)

Gala dinner at Fearrington House ($80 per person)

Students may be undergraduate or graduate (PhD or MD, no postdocs or fellows).

Each workshop attendance is limited to first 125 registrants

Marriott Courtyard Chapel Hill

Call 800-321-2211 to make your reservation via phone, or use these reservation links to reserve a double queen room . Reservations must be received by March 5 to guarantee the conference rate of $119 plus tax (specify ISAM 2013 Congress). The hotel is located across the street and within close walking distance of the Friday Center.

Sheraton Chapel Hill

Call 800-325-3535 to make your reservation. Reservations must be received byFebruary 22to guarantee the conference rate of $126 plus tax (specify ISAM 2013 Congress). The hotel is located on Europa Drive, approximately 3.5 miles from the Friday Center. A shuttle to the Friday Center will be available each morning between 7 am and 8 am.

Aloft Hotel

Call 919-932-7772 to make your reservation via phone or visit the ISAM 2013 Congress reservation link. Reservations must be received by March 15 to guarantee the conference rate of $109 plus tax (specify ISAM 2013 Congress). The hotel is located on Raleigh Road, less than one mile from the Friday Center.

The Franklin Hotel

Call 866-831-5999 to make your reservation. Reservations must be received by March 5 to guarantee the conference rate of $159 plus tax (specify ISAM 2013 Congress). The hotel is located on Franklin Street in downtown Chapel Hill, approximately 3 miles from the Friday Center. Transportation to the Friday Center is available at no additional charge.
