Community Classroom Series
Keep an eye out this fall for an exciting new lineup of noncredit courses from the Friday Center. The Community Classroom Series will be back with a fresh selection of enrichment courses, and a new “What’s the Big Idea?” program will feature lectures from University researchers about a timely issue. Credit Programs for Part-time Students
The Friday Center offers several ways for nontraditional students to earn academic credit. Students can take classes on UNC-Chapel Hill’s campus through Part-time Classroom Studies. Those who are unable to attend courses on campus can enroll in the Friday Center’s distance education courses through Self-paced Courses and Carolina Courses Online. Fall 2013 registration deadline: Monday, Aug 26
Earn college credit by taking courses online. Carolina Courses Online are open to anyone who wishes to engage in this method of study; admission to UNC-Chapel Hill is not required in order to enroll. Courses are offered in the fall and spring semesters and in an extended summer term. Enroll online or call 919-962-1134.

The Friday Center operates a state-of-the-art conference facility designed to serve the needs of adult learners. Situated on quiet, beautifully landscaped grounds with convenient access from all points in the Triangle, the Friday Center is an ideal setting for continuing education programs of all descriptions.
