ANTH 101: General Anthropology

This course is an introduction to anthropology, the science of humans, the culture-bearing animal. Topics considered: human evolution and biological variations within and between modern populations, prehistoric and historic developments of culture, cultural dynamics viewed analytically and comparatively. All of the assigned readings for this course will be available either in the course documents folder in the course Sakai site or through course reserves through the UNC Libraries.
