Friday Center Speaker Series
The Friday Center showcases the research, discoveries, and ideas of UNC-CH faculty with free, in-person
events open to the public of all ages. We hope you’ll join us in nurturing the bond between Carolina and the local community.
Celebration of Black History Program
The Friday Center offers a free in-person event to the community in honor of Black history,
hosted at the Friday Conference Center. Registration is required to attend.
Martin Luther King, Jr. Memorial Celebration
Co-hosted by the MLK Jr. University/Community Planning Corporation and Office of the Provost at UNC Chapel Hill
Paralegal Certificate
The Paralegal Certificate Program is distinguished by a focus on comprehensive legal specific skills such as: investigating fact patterns, conducting law-related research, and preparing cases for courtroom litigation. Designed for someone looking to change careers or advance a legal career, the education you receive in our paralegal certificate program can be used in a law office or in related fields such as real estate, social services, and government.

BRIDGES Academic Leadership
BRIDGES is an inclusive professional development program dedicated to supporting cisgender or transgender women and nonbinary colleagues in higher education who seek to gain or strengthen their academic leadership capabilities, and/or individuals who demonstrate a commitment to supporting women and gender issues and equity in the academy.
